Every ShoXTools tool is built using standard web technologies — HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript. For PDF operations, we use the PDF-lib and PDF.js libraries, which run entirely client-side in your browser. Image processing is handled via the HTML5 Canvas API, meaning no image data is transmitted anywhere.
When you click "Merge PDF" or "Compress Image," your browser does all the work locally on your machine. The processing speed depends on your device — not on any server load or internet connection speed. This approach is not just better for privacy — it's faster for you too.
