We collect only the information necessary to provide and improve our services:

We never store your card details. All payment information is handled exclusively by Paddle.com. We only receive a subscription status and order reference.
2 How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect for these purposes only:
- To provide, maintain, and improve ShoXTools features and tools
- To manage your account and authenticate your identity via Firebase
- To process your Pro subscription and verify payment status via Paddle
- To send important account emails such as receipts and password resets
- To analyze anonymous usage patterns to improve performance
- To detect and prevent fraud, abuse, or Terms of Service violations
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data to any third party for marketing purposes.
3 Payments & Paddle
All Pro plan payments are processed by Paddle.com, our authorized Merchant of Record. Paddle handles all billing, invoicing, and tax compliance (including VAT, GST, and sales tax) on our behalf.
- Your card number and payment details are entered directly on Paddle's secure, PCI-compliant checkout — we never see or store them
- Paddle calculates and collects applicable taxes at checkout based on your billing location
- Paddle may collect and process your data to complete payments — see Paddle's Privacy Policy
- We receive only a subscription confirmation, order reference, and payment status

Your card statement will show a charge from "PADDLE.NET" or "Paddle.com" — this is normal and expected.
4 File Processing & Storage
When you use our tools, your files are processed solely to complete the requested operation. Many tools process files directly in your browser with no server upload. For certain operations, files may be temporarily uploaded to our servers to perform the task.
- Files are used only to perform the specific tool operation you requested
- Any temporarily uploaded files are automatically deleted within 1 hour of processing
- We do not read, analyze, or share the contents of your files
- We do not use your files to train AI models or any other purpose
- Your files are never accessible to other users
All file transfers are encrypted using HTTPS/TLS. Pro plan subscribers with download history can access their processed files for up to 30 days; these are stored securely and accessible only to the account holder.
5 Cookies & Tracking
We use cookies to keep you logged in and understand how our tools are used.

We do not share your personally identifiable information with any other third parties unless required by law.
7 Data Retention
- Account data — Retained while active; deleted within 30 days of account deletion request
- Uploaded files — Automatically deleted within 1 hour of processing
- Pro download history files — Retained for up to 30 days, then automatically deleted
- Payment records — Retained up to 7 years for tax and financial compliance (required by law)
- Usage logs — Retained up to 90 days for security and debugging
8 Your Rights

- Access — Request a copy of your personal data
- Correction — Request correction of inaccurate data
- Deletion — Request deletion of your account and data
- Portability — Request your data in a portable format

9 Children's Privacy
ShoXTools is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us at support@shoxtools.top and we will delete it promptly.
10 Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will update the date at the top and notify users by email for significant changes. Continued use of ShoXTools after changes constitutes acceptance.
